With room for tires up to 40c, there are very few limits to the Krypton. Thanks to top engineering from Argon 18, the new Krypton is faster and more capable than ever. It truly takes the term “all-road” to heart and is fast for the long haul.
Just because it is built for versatility does not mean the Krypton isn’t fast. This version is built with Argon 18’s Elite Level carbon layup which is more affordable than Pro Level while keeping the frame below 1,200 grams. It is lightweight, stiff, and responsive without sacrificing any of the versatility or compliance you need for all-road adventures. Each pedal stroke results in responsive power transfer. The tube shapes have been remodeled to give it best in class aerodynamics to compliment excellent handling and stability. Regardless of where you take your Krypton, you can count on it to be fast.
To fulfill its quest for all-road versatility, the Krypton needs to be intuitive and up for a range of challenges. The downtube has a hidden storage unit so you can stow away a tool that is easy to access for roadside maintenance. SRS Cable Routing makes for quick and easy assembly and adjustments regardless of what groupset you run. This version comes complete with a SRAM Rival groupset for 11-speed mechanical shifting at a great price. A T47 Bottom Bracket also leads to quick and simple maintenance so you can just focus on riding. The Argon 18 Krypton is for the rider who wants to test the limits and have fun doing it.
