Vision Wheels

Vision wheels trace their origins to Kona — the brand launched in 1993 at the Ironman World Championships, first making its name with integrated carbon handlebars before committing to wheel manufacturing in 2007. A subsidiary of FSA (Full Speed Ahead), Vision built its reputation in triathlon and time trial, where the gap between first and second often comes down to seconds at speed. That aero-first philosophy runs through the entire lineup: the all-carbon Metron RS 60 with bladed carbon spokes in a 2:1 lacing pattern and a 23mm internal width, the Metron TTW rear disc designed for time trial racing, and a 3-spoke track front wheel built for the velodrome.

The SC45 and SC55 disc brake wheelsets bring Vision’s approach to road riding at a more accessible price point. Five products, each purpose-built for a specific discipline.

About Vision Wheels

Vision launched at the Ironman World Championship in Kona in 1993 — first as a maker of integrated carbon handlebars for time trial and triathlon athletes. Wheels came in 2007, and the brand applied that same obsession with aerodynamic efficiency to rim and spoke construction. As part of the FSA group, Vision has developed into a serious force in performance carbon wheels. The Metron RS represents the current state of that work: full carbon construction with bladed carbon spokes in a 2:1 lacing pattern, a V-1000 hub with 72T engagement, and a claimed 1,390g weight — 7% lighter than the prior Metron SL generation. Vision’s own testing puts the RS 60 at 9% faster in wind tunnel comparisons.

The RA Cycles lineup covers Vision’s full range of disciplines. The Metron RS 60 is the road and race flagship. The Metron TTW is a dedicated time trial rear disc wheel designed to minimize drag in a straight line. The 3-Spoke is a tubular front wheel for track racing with a thru-axle. The SC45 and SC55 round out the range as disc brake road wheelsets — tubeless-ready, more accessible, and still built to Vision’s carbon construction standards.
