Returns and Exchanges

If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, you have 30 days to either return the item for a refund or exchange it for something else. All items, including bikes, must be unused and in their original saleable condition with all packaging and labels intact.


Our mechanics assemble and pack your bike as part of the purchase price, including parts requiring mechanical expertise such as shifters, derailleurs, and bottom brackets. Some parts like the front wheel, saddle, and bars will arrive uninstalled to fit the bike into its box. These parts are commonly adjusted and can typically be installed with an Allen/hex key.

Restocking fees apply as follows:

  • Factory spec bikes: 10% of the purchase price, covering labor and packaging costs.
  • Custom spec bikes: 10% of the purchase price plus fees for disposed items such as hydraulic fluid, cables, and bar tape, which cannot be restocked after a return.

Returning an Item

Email your completed return and exchange form to returns@racycles.com.

Processing Time

It takes 5 - 10 business days for us to receive your package, inspect your return, process the inventory, and complete your refund. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your bank account depends on your financial institution.

Exchanging an Item

We recommend placing a new order immediately for the items you want to exchange to ensure availability. You will receive a full refund for the original purchase once it is processed by our returns department.

Warranty Information

If you believe you have received a faulty product, please email us at warranty@racycles.com within 7 days of receiving the item. RA Cycles reserves the right to determine if a product is faulty based on our quality inspection.

  • Quality inspection and return/replacement process: Our team will assess the reported issue to determine warranty coverage. If the product is deemed faulty, it may be necessary to return the item for a replacement or refund, subject to stock availability.
  • Shipping costs and labor charges: RA Cycles is not responsible for any shipping or labor charges not covered by the manufacturer in a warranty claim. Customers may be responsible for shipping costs for returning the item.
  • Stock availability and warranty processing fees: Replacement items are subject to stock availability. RA Cycles may charge a processing fee for warranties of products not purchased from us, which will be communicated before processing.
  • Refunds and credits: Issued based on the criteria outlined, with refunds processed in the original payment method or as store credit.

  • Received incorrect item: Please contact us at returns@racycles.com or call 718-222-6000 with your order number.
  • Return shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or the wrong item was sent.
  • Wrong sized items: No restock fee is applied for exchanges due to size. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was sent incorrectly, in which case RA Cycles will cover the return shipment.
