Time Bikes

RA Cycles is proud to carry Time — one of the most technically ambitious framemakers in cycling. Founded in France in 1987, Time pioneered carbon fiber construction methods that the rest of the industry took years to adopt. Every Time frame is still built in their European factory using Braided Carbon Structure (BCS) and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), a process that incorporates up to 16 fiber types — including Vectran, Kevlar, and Dyneema — for a ride quality that is unmistakably their own.

The current lineup centers on two road platforms. The Time Scylon is their most advanced all-around road frame — aerodynamic, stiff where it counts, and remarkably smooth over rough surfaces. The Alpe d'Huez X is the pure climbing bike, named after the most iconic summit finish in Tour de France history. Both are available as framesets or as custom builds with your choice of Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS, or Campagnolo Super Record WRL drivetrains. For riders who want one bike that handles pavement and gravel alike, the ADHX 45 UDH brings Time's road DNA to wider tires and rougher terrain.

Time frames reward riders who care about how a bike feels — not just how fast it goes. If that sounds like you, start here.

About Time

Time has been building carbon fiber frames and components since 1987, when founder Roland Cattin launched the brand in Lyon, France. Time was among the first to use carbon in clipless pedals and later applied the same material science to framebuilding, developing proprietary techniques — Resin Transfer Molding and Braided Carbon Structure — that remain central to their process today.

The brand's racing pedigree runs deep. Time frames have been ridden to Grand Tour stage wins and Monument victories, and the Alpe d'Huez model carries the name of cycling's most celebrated climb. After a period of ownership changes, Time relaunched under U.S.-based management with a sharper focus: fewer models, higher quality, and full custom-build capability through select dealers like RA Cycles.

What sets Time apart is the ride. Their layup process produces frames that are stiff under power but forgiving over rough roads — a combination that most brands struggle to achieve. Every frame is hand-finished in their factory, and the attention to detail is visible the moment you pull one out of the box.
