The Zipp Tangente Platinum Pro Evo Brake Pads use the same grey carbon-specific compound as their predecessor, but Zipp reworked the shape in ways that matter. Surface area is up 10% — achieved by increasing radial height — while overall thickness is trimmed by 1% to clear Zipp's wider rim profiles and integrated brake designs. More material means longer pad life, and redesigned grooves work to shed water from the braking track in wet conditions while channeling air across the rim to manage heat when it's dry.
Available in Shimano/SRAM and Campagnolo fits. These are carbon-specific pads and are not approved for use on aluminum rims.
