Direct mount braking demands a caliper built around stiffness, and the SRAM S-900 Direct Mount Brake delivers exactly that. By threading directly into the fork or seatstays, the caliper is braced by the frame itself — torsional forces that would flex a traditional dual-pivot setup have far less room to interfere with braking performance. The result is a more consistent, more powerful feel at the lever, particularly under hard braking.
An offset synchronizer screw links and centers the two caliper arms, adding further rigidity to the assembly while keeping pad alignment dialed. The quick release is integrated into the arm — out of the way, but easy to reach when you need to pull a wheel. Clearance runs to 28mm, and the caliper is compatible with all SRAM road brake levers. Each caliper ships with SwissStop Flash Pro brake pads installed.
