SRAM Code RSC Disc Brake Info
The SRAM Code RSC Disc Brake is built for riders who need dependable stopping power under sustained load — think long descents, enduro stages, or technical terrain where brake fade isn't an option. A four-piston dual-diameter alloy caliper pairs 15mm and 16mm pistons with steel-backed metal sintered pads, delivering a braking system designed to produce significantly more power than lighter-duty MTB brakes in SRAM's lineup.
The lever body includes a PiggyBack Reservoir for improved fluid management and an expandable bladder to reduce air bubbles — both aimed at maintaining consistent lever feel when the brake is working hardest. The ambidextrous lever runs on sealed bearings and features Contact Point Adjustment so you can dial in reach and bite point to your preference. The caliper ships pre-bled via SRAM's Bleeding Edge system using DOT 5.1 fluid, and the clamp is compatible with Matchmaker and MMX mounts for integrating your shifter or dropper remote cleanly at the bar. Note: rotors are not included.
