SRAM Code RSC Disc Brake Info
The SRAM Code RSC Disc Brakes were designed with inspiration from their already popular Guide brakes. Reliable usage and simple adjustability were the main points that SRAM wanted to transfer to the Code RSC brakes. The result was an impressive stopper that shines brightest on downhill rides. The four-piston dual-diameter alloy caliper (15 and 16mm pistons) pushes steel-backed metal sintered pads, leading to a powerful system that increases braking power by 15 percent.
The Code RSC Disc Brakes are convenient and efficient. The lever body has an expandable bladder to minimize air bubbles and a PiggyBack Reservoir to better manage the extra fluid (30 percent extra) you need for speed. The ambidextrous lever itself runs on sealed bearings, and features SRAM’s Contact Point Adjustment. The fluid is, as always DOT 5.1, and the caliper comes pre-bled and ready to go with SRAM’s Bleeding Edge design. The lever comes on a clamp for Matchmaker and MMX, so you can secure your shifter and remote to the brake lever clamp. Please note that rotors are not included with this product.
