The Scott Spark 970 is an affordable full suspension trail bike that can fly up and down the mountains, covers long distances, and be a fun partner for mountain exploration. It is just as prepared for single track speed as it is for weekend adventures, making it as fun as it is fast. This bike is categorized as a trail bike but is just as ready for a cross country race or anything else you can throw at it. The Spark 970 uses a lightweight aluminum alloy for the frame, making it durable and affordable without much of a weight difference. The new Spark allows adjustments of the head angle by 0.6 degrees in either direction. At the front, you will find a Syncros iC integrated combo, keeping cables perfectly managed. The frame features a lightweight zone and a stiffness zone, covering all your bases and resulting in a dynamic ride. A 55mm chain line makes room for excellent tire clearance while maintaining the stiffness needed for great power transfer. The Spark features a suspension fork for an extra 130mm of front travel. Traction mode also steepens the seat tube angle, raises the bottom bracket, and brings the front wheel closer for efficient climbing without sacrificing a suspension for descending. This version of the Spark is equipped with SRAM SX and NX components for affordable mechanical 12-speed shifting.
