The Lightweight Bugelhalter Carbon Stem is built around a straightforward premise: hold your steerer and bars with as little mass as possible, and never compromise on the strength required to do it safely. The carbon-fiber body is constructed from multiple plies through a precise lay-up process designed to maximize structural integrity — not just minimize grams. At 110g for the 100mm length, it's a stem you stop thinking about the moment it's bolted on.
Lightweight had the Bugelhalter tested to the European EFBE standard — covering fatigue, maximum load, overloading, and rigidity — before bringing it to market. Six titanium bolts handle the clamping duties: two at the steerer interface and four at the bar clamp, with a maximum torque of 4.5Nm. The 1 1/8" steerer clamp and 31.8mm bar clamp cover the vast majority of modern road setups.
