The 3T Strada is known for its unique combination of aerodynamics and comfort. The ability to equip wider tires helps reduce shock on cracks, cobbles, potholes, and any non-perfect road. This helps fend off fatigue for longer rides at higher speeds. Tires up to 30mm can be equipped with no downside in terms of performance. This is the second version of the Strada, featuring a better way to internally route cables. When it comes to an aero road bike, obviously the frame shape and efficiency is a huge factor. 3T is run by Gerard Vroomen, the cofounder of Cervélo, so you know he knows a thing or two about aerodynamics. The Strada was tested in far more than just a wind tunnel, taking into account as many real world settings as possible. They tested it at 20 and 30 mph and included tests with water bottles and mud on the frame. All of this was considered when constructing a frame that remains fast and efficient in all of the above conditions. This was accomplished while maintaining the wide tire clearance the Strada is known for.

Every detail of the Strada’s geometry is made to help you get the most out of your ride. The crown is minimalist but also continuous and rigid to help get the most force out of an aero front end. The fork legs use their classic Squaero style to guide airflow around a wider wheel and aid in stiffness. Both the headtube and downtube focus on both an aero shape and wind management, keeping drag away from the wheels to cut down on turbulence. This version is equipped with a 2x SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset for reliable and affordable 12-speed electronic shifting.
