THM Clavicula SE Crankset W/Power Meter

The THM Clavicula SE Crankset with Power Meter is a full-carbon road crankset with the power meter built into the axle. THM describes the Clavicula SE as its top-line crank, using a carbon axle joined to the left crank arm through a patented carbon-to-carbon connection. Cranksets are one of the hardest places to save weight, so this is a product aimed at riders who count grams and want power data without adding bulk.

The power meter electronics, including the strain gauges and rechargeable lithium-ion battery, sit inside the 30mm axle, so the crank arms look like an ordinary crankset. Reported weight is about 320g for the compact version and 329g for the standard, without chainrings, with the power meter adding roughly 27g. THM claims accuracy of plus or minus 2% and a power range of 0-1999 watts. Battery life is claimed at around 150 hours, and data goes to your head unit over ANT+ or Bluetooth LE. The system measures left-side power only, which suits most riders for training and pacing, though it will not show any imbalance between legs.
