The SRAM GX Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit is the most direct path from mechanical Eagle to wireless electronic shifting — no full groupset swap required. If your bike already runs Eagle components, this kit adds the pieces that make it electronic: the GX Eagle AXS derailleur, AXS POD controller, and battery. Chain, cassette, and crank arms stay exactly where they are.

The GX Eagle AXS derailleur operates on SRAM's wireless AXS platform — no cables, no housing, no mechanical actuation at the derailleur. The AXS POD controller mounts to the bar and sends a wireless signal with each press, driving shifts across the full 520% gear range of the Eagle ecosystem. It works with any Eagle-compatible cassette (10-52t) and Eagle crank arms, so existing components slot right in. The AXS app handles shift behavior customization, button mapping, firmware updates, and maintenance reminders. Battery status is visible in the app at any time, and the battery format is shared across the AXS ecosystem — any spare AXS battery works.
