The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 ST-R9160 Mechanical Shift/Brake Lever Set plugs into the end of your triathlon base bars to give you control of your rim brakes and the convenience of electronic touch shifting.

As this is Di2, the shifting mechanism is compatible with all Di2 E-tube components. That means all of Shimano’s electronic road eleven-speed derailleur and remote options. That includes being able to install touch-shifting electronic remote buttons on the end of your aero extensions as well. There’s a single shift button on each lever body. You’ll want to program the action via SM-PCE1 or SM-BCR2 so it can do synchro shifting, either a single shift, or shift as long as you’re holding down a button. This particular lever set is designed to match the aesthetics of 9150 Dura-Ace.  

You can upgrade the firmware via the E-tube system. You can program the shift buttons, so it can do either a single shift, or shift as long as you’re holding down the button.

The levers plug into the ends of your base bar. They work with bars that have an inner diameter between 19.0 and 22.5mm. They come with Shimano brake cables and housing.
