The Selle SMP Evolution Saddle is built around a design philosophy that's been at the core of Selle SMP for decades — a central cutout channel that runs the full length of the saddle, relieving pressure on soft tissue where most riders feel it most. The raised rear profile encourages a powerful seated pedaling position, while the distinctive downward-curved nose reduces friction and hotspots during long efforts in the drops.

Designed for riders with a moderate to narrow pelvis, the Evolution uses moderate elastomer padding over a carbon-reinforced nylon shell — firm enough to deliver efficient power transfer, with enough give to stay comfortable over distance. The leather cover and steel rails keep the build honest and durable, suited to everyday training as much as weekend road rides.
