Selle Italia Smootape Classica Bar Tape Info

Selle Italia Smootape Classica Bar Tape is a traditional leather handlebar wrap.

The kit comes with two long ribbons of adhesive-backed leather. The ribbons are long enough to generously cover handlebars up to 50cm wide; the tape is 35mm wide by 1800mm long and perforated to allow moisture to escape. Weight is 95g for the set. As with any modern set of tape, it comes with two handlebar plugs as well; start by wrapping the tape at the bottom, set in the plug, and wrap the bars tightly.

The colors are traditional hues of bar tape leather. Perfect for a restoration project, your stylin’ coffee shop bike, or your Eroica steed. As it is real leather, it might take some care after being in elements like rain and snow.
