The Schwalbe Eddy Current Super Gravity EVO Addix Soft Tubeless Easy Rear Tire was built specifically for the demands of e-mountain biking — where motor output multiplies braking forces, cornering loads, and the punishment a tire has to absorb on every descent. The oversized block pattern, designed roughly 20 percent larger than a standard enduro tread, keeps grip consistent through the hard acceleration and abrupt braking that define eMTB riding. Addix Soft compound — identified by the orange markings — prioritizes traction and grip in variable, technical conditions over outright rolling speed.
This is a rear-specific tread pattern, shaped to handle the braking and driving forces that the back wheel takes on. Super Gravity casing adds reinforced puncture protection underneath the tread, keeping the tire intact on aggressive terrain where sidewall damage is a real risk. Available in 27.5x2.6 and 27.5x2.8, both in a Tubeless Easy setup — meaning a conventional rim and a compatible sealant are all you need to run it tubeless.
