If you’re riding a Cervélo, a frame that gives you an edge just about everywhere, you owe it to yourself to install ceramic bearings in the central movement to maximize all your gains. Rotor was the first company to provide a crank that worked with the Cervélo-designed BBright standard. It only makes sense that you can find the necessary bottom bracket from Rotor. This is the PF4630 Ceramic Bottom Bracket.

This is for the BBright Press Fit Standard. BBright refers to a bottom bracket shell 79mm in width, with an inner diameter of 46mm. The inner diameter of the bearings is 30mm, which matches up with the exterior diameter of 30mm thru-axle cranks.

In terms of cranks that fit in the bottom bracket, it is Rotor’s 3D30 and 3D30+. It also fits BB386 EVO cranks.

The kit consists of two cups with bearings pressed in and a sleeve. Press in one side, then the other. The bearings are hybrids: ceramic balls in steel races. Ceramics are harder, rounder, and smoother than steel. They roll with less drag and need less maintenance. Weight is 102g
