The Rotor PF4624 (Pressfit 30) to 24mm Ceramic Bottom Bracket solves a specific problem cleanly: running 24mm spindle cranks in a PF30 frame shell. The aluminum cup body is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 and anodized, and the hybrid ceramic bearings — steel races with ceramic balls — are what separate this from a standard steel unit.
Ceramic balls are measurably rounder and harder than steel, which means lower rolling resistance and less maintenance over time. The installation is straightforward: press one cup, insert the sleeve, press the other. Compatible with any 24mm spindle crank, including Rotor's own 3D24.
