The Rotor PF4624 MTB (Pressfit 30) to 24mm Ceramic Bottom Bracket solves a specific problem cleanly: running 24mm spindle cranks in a PF30 frame shell. The machined 7075-T6 aluminum cup set is anodized in red and designed to press directly into a 46mm inner diameter shell — the standard found on PF30 mountain bike frames with a 73mm shell width.
The bearings are hybrid construction — steel races paired with ceramic balls. Ceramic rolling elements are rounder and harder than steel, which translates to lower friction at the contact point and reduced wear over time.
