In the world of increasing bottom bracket standards the BB386 EVO is a curiosity. It has the width of a BB86 and the diameter of BB/PF30. Luckily, if you’ve got cranks with a 24mm diameter thru-axle, Rotor has you covered with this Press Fit 4624 bottom bracket.

The shell width is 86.5mm. The inner diameter of the shell is 46mm. This standard precludes the use of BB30 spindles because the shell is too wide, but it provides the width (and stiffness) that BB86 shells give frames and the stiffness and light weight that BB30 cranks offer.
