Rotor 2INPower MTB Crank Arms for Direct Mount Chainrings Info

With the 2INPower MTB Crank for Direct Mount Chainrings, you’ve got the rare power meter that hides the electronics inside the thru-axle and right arm. This makes the IPX7 waterproof rating much easier, and gives you pretty tremendous flexibility in terms of chainring size and shape.

The only chainrings compatible with this crank is Rotor’s One-Piece rings for their Hawk and Raptor cranks. The great things about this is that the rings go as small as 26 teeth, and have small, precise splines so that you can very accurately line up the high and low points of Rotor’s oval chainrings with the high- and low-power points of your pedal stroke. And thanks to Rotor’s Torque 360 and OCA analysis software, which works with smartphones, tablets, and computers, you can find the sweet spot easily.

The 2INPower sends out both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart (BTLE) signals simultaneously. These can be picked up by ANT+ head units and Bluetooth head units, smartphones, tablets, and computers (check yours for specific app and program compatibility).

Accuracy is a clamed 1-1.5%. The axle-mounted Lithium-Ion battery comes with a charge on it. You might want to fully charge before riding. It should last about 250 hours on a charge. The charge cable is included, is four feet long and works very much like a computer charging cable with a magnetic mount on the crank side and a USB connector on the power side.

The cranks come with a lock ring and lock ring tool, but you’ll need to choose the chainring.

The thru-axle is a 30mm spindle and is designed to work with BB30 PF30, BB89, BB92, and English-threaded bottom brackets. You’ll need to source the bracket or the requisite bearings and/or spacers. Crank lengths available are 165, 170, 175mm. The cranks are compatible with Boost-spaced frames: 169.5mm Q-factor and 52mm chainline. The 170mm set weighs 695g without ring.
