The Race Face Next SL G4 Crank Boots are a set of protective covers designed to shield your Next SL G4 crankarms from rock strikes, log impacts, and the general abuse that comes with aggressive trail riding. Made from a proprietary plastic blend, they absorb and deflect impacts that would otherwise scratch or crack a carbon crankarm. Available in five colours — black, blue, orange, red, and yellow — they let you match or contrast your existing build without much fuss.

Installation requires removing your pedals first. Once fitted, they sit flush over the crankarm ends and stay put through the kind of riding that makes them necessary in the first place. A small detail that extends the life of an expensive component.
