The thing about bottle cages is that once you have them, you’re keeping them on until they break, so you might as well get good ones. The PRO Bottle Cage Carbon is good. It holds bottles securely. It is light. It looks good, it adjusts on the mounts, and it comes with bolts.
The cage works with 74mm water bottles. That’s the standard size. If you’ve got bottles, they’ll fit in here. The fit will be tight, but you can still access the bottles.
The cage mounting points aren’t round, but oblong. This allows you to move the cage up and down a few millimeters to either make more room between the cages and your frame, or lift them up a bit so they’re easier to reach.
The shape holds firmly but still allows for easy access from a variety of angles. This is an issue with tight fits, which is something when you have either a small mtb or a compact road frame.
Weight for one cage is 26g.
