PRO PLT Seatpost - 0mm Offset Info
PRO’s PLT line of components is best thought of as Pro Light. They use their know how and proven materials to craft a shaft that benefits from trickle-down thinking to light, dependable, and a great value.
The clamping mechanism is the one-bolt side clamp they now use throughout their line. It started at the top, and have populated all their posts. It fits 7x7mm saddle rails. If your saddle of choice uses oversized 7x9mm rails, you’ll need an accessory clamp, part number YPRSP0121.
The shaft is crafted out of 7050 aluminum. The bottom is cut on a bias to save weight.
There are two setback options 0mm aka zero setback and 20mm. There are two diameter choices as well, 27.2mm and 31.6mm. Post length is 400mm. If you run Shimano Di2 shifting, you can fit a Di2 battery in the post with the help of PRO’s seatpost battery holder.
The PRO PLT Seatpost weighs 246g in the 0mm offset, 27.2mm size.
