Saddle bags need to do a few things well. PRO’s Strap Saddle Bags do them all well.

The design is fairly straightforward. A wide-mouth bag made of ripstop nylon panels. It has reflective elements on the sides for safety as well as a blinky-light loop for when you want that extra strobe protection. It secures to your bike via both a strap over the saddle rails and a second strap that goes ‘round the seatpost.

There are three sizes to this basic strap-style mounting saddlebag. The smallest can fit the minimum: tube, two levers, mini-tool, small patch kit, a few CO2 cartridges and a small inflator. And then go up from there. Remember, you’ll always fill the bag, no matter the size, so choose a level you’re happy with.

There are three sizes. The Mini (Small) has a volume of .4 liters and measures 130x75x70mm. The Medi (Medium) has a volume of .6 liters and measures 160x80x75mm. The Maxi (Large) has a volume of 1 liter and measures 170x95x95mm.

The Mini has one side compartment, while the Medi and Maxi have two.
