Pivot claims the LES Fat to be the world’s most versatile large tire bike and for good reason. It can accommodate virtually any wheel size, including 26-inch all the way up to 29-inch thanks to adjustable dropouts. This bike allows riders to get after it through all four seasons of the year. It can run through single tracks with great speed like a cross country bike thanks to a lightweight carbon fiber frame. When winter rolls around, simply slap on the fat tires and take your LES Fat out on a snow covered trail with no compromise to speed or handling. It is equipped with a rigid carbon fork for impeccable handling for riders who prefer not to have extra travel at the front. The Pivot LES Fat Pro is one of the few fat bikes that gets the job done every day of the year.
While many fat bikes are heavy and clunky, Pivot opted to use a full carbon frame and a thinner top tube shape for long rides and optimal comfort. This keeps the LES Fat incredibly lightweight and able to keep up the speed you want on a dirt single track before moving onto the heavy mud and snow. It also has three bottle mounts for those long riding days. This version is equipped with a Shimano XT groupset for trail-specific 12-speed shifting. Thanks to the Pivot Swinger II dropout system, you can adjust the chainstays to fit any size wheel without altering the feel of the bike. The Pivot LES Fat is one of the most adaptive and versatile bikes on the market for year round riding.
