Pinarello Dogma F Dura-Ace Bike Info
Pinarello has been building race bikes in Treviso, Italy since 1952, and the Dogma has been the name at the front of the sport for the better part of the last two decades. More Tour de France victories have come on a Dogma than on any other frame in that period. The Pinarello Dogma F Dura-Ace Bike is the current expression of that legacy — a complete race machine built around the M40X carbon frame that Pinarello validated on Team INEOS Grenadiers bikes before bringing it to production. The M40X fiber delivers a new level of lateral stiffness without adding weight, making the Dogma F a better sprinter than its predecessor while remaining the same all-around weapon that has defined the platform for years.
Every aerodynamic detail on the Dogma F is a deliberate engineering decision, not a visual gesture. The downtube was completely redesigned — slimmer to reduce frontal drag, and rotated 3.5 degrees to create a keel shape at the bottom bracket area that improves aero performance at that junction by 1.2 percent. That specific number comes from Pinarello's work on the Hour Record platform, trickling down directly into the production bike. The headtube nose — a shape Pinarello pioneered on the Dogma F8 in 2014 — has been refined again, with the nose volume and width reduced by 8mm for improved frontal penetration. Narrowing the headtube this much required a complete rethink of the steering system: the elliptical steering tube and E-TiCR headset use differentiated bearing diameters, wider at the bottom and narrower at the top, to work within that reduced width. The eTiCR Onda fork uses a slimmer profile with a 47mm rake tuned with INEOS pro rider feedback for descending confidence. The right-side fork axle bolt is integrated directly into the carbon, eliminating the external hole. The rear derailleur dropout gets the same treatment, and shorter thru-axles complete a rear end that's been cleaned up at every joint. The seatpost clamp is fully integrated into the seat tube, trimming weight and blocking the grime that collects around exposed clamps on long race days.
The build on this Dogma F is as complete as the frame engineering. Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 handles the drivetrain — 12-speed electronic shifting front and rear, hydraulic disc brakes through the 9270 system, and a 50/34 chainring setup paired with an 11-30 cassette. The Dura-Ace 9200 crankset ships with an integrated power meter, so the bike is ready to train and race with data from the first ride. Princeton Peak 4550 carbon wheels front and rear are tubeless-ready and provide a deep-section profile that complements the frame's aerodynamic character. Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR tires in 700x28 finish the rolling setup. The cockpit is the MOST Talon Ultra Fast — an integrated bar and stem that is both lighter and more aerodynamic than a conventional setup, with a twisted lever position designed to let riders find a lower, more aerodynamic hand position more naturally. Pinarello's Aero seatpost uses a 3D-printed titanium seat clamp and titanium bolts, and the saddle is the MOST Lynx Ultrafast Superflow Carbon.

Design Benefits
- M40X carbon, race-proven before production. Pinarello ran the M40X layup on INEOS Grenadiers team bikes during competition before making it available to the public. The result is increased lateral stiffness — particularly relevant under sprint loads and hard out-of-saddle efforts — without a weight penalty.
- Hour Record aero engineering in a production road bike. The 3.5-degree downtube rotation and keel-shaped BB junction came directly from the Hour Record project. That 1.2 percent aero improvement at the BB is the kind of gain that professional teams build race strategy around.
- Every external bolt has been addressed. The fork axle, the rear derailleur dropout, the seatpost clamp — each one has been integrated, shortened, or eliminated. The result is a frame that presents less hardware to the wind at every interface and requires less cleaning after hard riding.
- Power meter included in the build. The Shimano Dura-Ace 9200 crankset ships with an integrated power meter. At this price point, race-ready data collection is part of the package — no separate purchase or installation required.
- Princeton Peak 4550 wheels match the frame's aero intent. A deep-section carbon wheelset that complements the Dogma F's aerodynamic character rather than working against it. Tubeless-ready out of the box with the Continental GP5000S TR tires already mounted.
- MOST Talon Ultra Fast cockpit, purpose-built for this platform. The twisted lever position is a deliberate ergonomic choice — it brings riders into a lower, more aerodynamic hand position on the hoods without forcing an uncomfortable wrist angle. Lighter and more integrated than a stem-and-bar combination.
Final Take
The Dogma F Dura-Ace is a complete race build at the level professional teams ride. There is no functional upgrade left on the table — the frame is Pinarello's best, the groupset is Shimano's best, the wheels are a legitimate race wheelset, and the power meter is already installed. For a rider who wants to buy one bike and race it at the highest amateur or professional level without building up components separately, this is that bike. The Pinarello name has meant something specific at the front of the peloton for a long time. This is what that looks like in a complete package.
