Knog Blinder Mini Dot Front Light Info

Knog led into their blinky lights with the Blinder. This latest iteration is the most impressive yet. There are three varieties: Dot, Niner, and Chippy. all are the same size, each has its own purpose. Each has a front- and rear-specific style as well.

As with all Blinder lights, this one has a rubbery strap system that is light, flexible, durable, and can fit round or aero bars and posts. Five modes, four blinking, one steady the rest blinking. They last from about 1.8 hours to 11.5 hours depending on the mode chosen. They recharge directly into a USB port. They weigh 18g, and are sized 31x31x14mm. The front versions boast 20 lumens, the rear all 11 lumens. They can be seen at up to 800 meters. The narrower the beam, the farther away it can be seen.

The Dot has a single LED, has a 20-degree wide beam, an alloy face, and is considered the all-rounder.

The Niner has nine LEDs, a 90-degree beam, a reflective face, and is considered best for city use.

The Chippy has LED chips, a 120-degree beam, a reflective face, and is considered best for riding in packs.

The only difficulty is figuring out which is best for your riding.
