The sensor works on the road and on the trainer, which makes it a consistent data source year-round — your numbers don't change when you move indoors for winter blocks. It's rated to 1 ATM water resistance, so rain and sweat aren't a concern. Three rubber straps are included to fit a range of crank arm sizes, and the CR2032 coin cell battery keeps the unit running without any proprietary charging cables to manage.
