Deda Zero100 Shallow Handlebar Info
The Zero 100 line of handlebars from Deda are their proven bends. These have worked and continue to work because they’re shapes that people know and find comfortable.
All the bars start with triple-butted 7075 aluminum alloy. All have a 31.7mm center section, and are found in either Black on Black (BOB) or Black anodized finishes. The bars come in widths from 38-46cm in 2cm increments. As always, measure Deda bars from outside-to-outside.
The RHM has their compact semi-ergo bend, with 75mm of reach and 130mm of drop. It weighs 324g in a 42.
The Shallow has a classic Giro d’Italia style round bend. Reach is 80mm and drop is 135mm. The narrowest bar is a 42. It weighs 252g in a 42.
The Deep is a traditional Belgian-style round bend. It’s a basic shape that had adherents from Eddy Merckx to Greg LeMond to modern-day classics riders who like to get low and aero. It’s for the last reason that track riders also like it. The reach is 95mm and the drop 145mm, about as long and deep as you can find on bars today. It only goes as narrow as a 42. Weight is 254g for the 42.
The Anatomic is a deep ergo bend for people who like their hands in a single place on the drops. The reach is 86mm and drop is 142mm. It only goes as narrow as 40cm. Weight is 258g for the 42.
