The CeramicSpeed Oversized Ceramic Pulley Wheel System for SRAM AXS 12-Speed is a direct replacement for the stock pulley cage on your SRAM Red eTap AXS or Force eTap AXS derailleur. The principle is straightforward: larger pulleys create a smoother chain path, and ceramic bearings running inside those pulleys eliminate the friction that steel bearings generate. CeramicSpeed has measured the result at 35–40% less friction than a stock pulley configuration — free speed that doesn't ask anything of your legs.

This is the Coated variant, which upgrades the bearings further. Where the standard version uses CeramicSpeed's silicon nitride ceramic balls, the Coated version adds a specialized friction-reducing coating to the bearing surfaces. CeramicSpeed's ceramic balls are already 58% lighter than steel and significantly faster — each one takes 50 to 70 days to produce. The coating builds on that foundation, extending bearing life and reducing friction even at the contact points that standard ceramic already handles well.

The cage itself is custom molded carbon fiber, keeping system weight minimal while maintaining the structural rigidity needed to hold precise pulley alignment under load. The 15-tooth upper and 19-tooth lower pulley wheels are machined aluminum. Two spring tension settings let you dial in chain wrap based on your cassette and riding conditions. Installation uses a custom tool included in the box, and CeramicSpeed includes a 15ml bottle of UFO Tech Bearing Oil and a full installation guide.
