CeramicSpeed Ceramic Race Bottom Bracket - PF30 to 30mm (Campy OverTorque)

The CeramicSpeed Ceramic Race Bottom Bracket PF30 to 30mm (Campy OverTorque) solves a specific problem precisely: mating Campagnolo OverTorque cranks to a PF30 shell with the lowest possible rotational friction. The OverTorque spindle runs 30mm in diameter as a single-piece design — stiffer and lighter than earlier two-piece 25mm spindle configurations — and CeramicSpeed's Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls are the right bearing for it. These bearings are pressed into aluminium cups inside machined aluminium sleeves, then assembled in Denmark.

The PF30 standard uses a 46mm shell bore — larger than a standard BB30 shell — which allows the bearings to sit inside pressed cups rather than directly against the shell. CeramicSpeed's ceramic balls are harder and smoother than steel, which means lower friction under load and extended service intervals compared to conventional steel bearings.
