The CeramicSpeed Ceramic Race Bottom Bracket PF30 to 24mm (Shimano) exists to eliminate one of the most overlooked sources of drivetrain drag on your bike — the bottom bracket. Designed to adapt a PF30 frame shell to a 24mm spindle crank, it uses Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic ball bearings pressed into hardened steel races, delivering measurably lower rolling resistance than standard steel bearings alongside improved longevity.

The PF30 standard uses a 46mm diameter shell housing — wider than the traditional BB30 — which allows the bearings to seat inside removable aluminum cups rather than requiring snap rings. CeramicSpeed presses the bearings into machined aluminum cups in Denmark, resulting in a precisely assembled unit that installs cleanly into your frame and stays there. The ceramic balls require less lubrication than steel and resist corrosion, which means longer service intervals and consistent performance deep into a season.
