Wolf Tooth Components

Wolf Tooth Components started with a chainring sketched out in a Minnesota basement — and the fact that 220 products later they still machine most of them in-house tells you everything about the brand's approach. Based in Burnsville, Minnesota, Wolf Tooth makes the parts riders actually want: Drop-Stop chainrings engineered to prevent dropped chains, the Resolve dropper post, CTRL Trail and ALT XC clipless pedals, T47 bottom brackets, multi-tools, and a full range of precision accessories for mountain, gravel, and road bikes. The collection at RA Cycles spans from small precision hardware under $10 to the Resolve dropper post at $395.95 — covering everything from complete drivetrain builds to the upgrades that quietly make every ride better.

About Wolf Tooth Components

Wolf Tooth was founded in 2013 by three mechanical engineers — Mike Pfeiffer, Brendan Moore, and Dan Dittmer — who started by selling a wide-narrow chainring design on the MTBR forum from a basement workshop in Minnesota. Demand outpaced their day jobs fast enough that by 2014 all three had gone full-time on the brand. Today Wolf Tooth operates from a 30,000 sq ft facility in Burnsville, machining most components in-house on nine CNC machines with a team of about 30 people handling design, prototyping, manufacturing, assembly, and shipping. The ethos behind every product is straightforward: solve the problems that bother you on the bike. Learn more at Wolf Tooth's official website.

RA Cycles stocks Wolf Tooth across all major categories. Dropper posts include the Resolve rev2 ($395.95) and Resolve rev1 ($265.97), both built to the same in-house precision standard as every other Wolf Tooth component. The pedal range covers the CTRL Trail, ALT XC, and DEL Gravel clipless models (all $219.95), designed for mountain, cross-country, and gravel riding respectively. Chainrings span multiple crank standards — including Drop-Stop B direct mount rings for SRAM and oval options — alongside T47 bottom brackets, headsets, the ReMote dropper lever, Pack multi-tools, and a wide range of small-but-precise accessories priced from under $10 to just under $400.

Wolf Tooth components work across road, mountain, and gravel platforms. Browse the full selection of chainrings, pedals, and dropper posts at RA Cycles, or explore complete mountain bikes and gravel bikes to build around.
