Zipp Tangente Knurled Valve Extenders

The Zipp Tangente Knurled Valve Extenders solve a simple but frustrating problem: getting a pump head to seat properly on a deep-rim wheel. Each kit includes three extenders and two wrenches, designed for use with removable-core Presta valves. A knurled grip keeps the pump chuck from slipping under pressure, and a 3mm hex branch lets you torque the extender down to a secure, airtight seal.

Compatible with Zipp butyl inner tubes and most other removable-core tubes and tubulars, these extenders work across a range of rim depths. Available in 27mm, 41mm, 65mm, and 91mm lengths — choose based on your rim depth to ensure the valve sits clear of the rim well.
