Stages Power Meters

Stages Cycling entered the market in 2012 with a straightforward argument: power data should be accessible to every rider, not just those who could afford a three-thousand-dollar system. The Boulder, Colorado company built its original left-side crank arm meter with that mission in mind, and the same philosophy drives the Gen 3 lineup in the RA Cycles collection today — accurate watt data in a package that installs in minutes and adds almost nothing to the weight of your existing crankset.

The collection covers Gen 3 Stages power meters in Shimano Dura-Ace 9200 and Ultegra 8100 configurations, available as left-side crank arm meters for single-sided measurement or as dual-sided cranksets for bilateral data. Whether you're getting into training by power for the first time or upgrading an existing drivetrain with accurate data, Stages offers a clean, proven path.

About Stages Cycling

Stages Cycling was founded in 2009 and launched its first power meter on July 12, 2012 — at a time when the cheapest power meters on the market cost nearly $3,000, required additional sensors, and struggled to compensate for temperature changes. The Boulder, Colorado team of engineers and cyclists set out to change that with a crank-arm approach: a strain gauge bonded directly to the left crank arm, delivering accurate watt data in a package that installs in minutes. The Gen 3 line built on that foundation with improved accuracy, temperature compensation, and the addition of true dual-sided measurement. All Stages power meters are hand-assembled in Boulder. Visit Stages Cycling's official website to explore the full lineup.

The RA Cycles Stages selection covers Gen 3 power meters for Shimano groupsets including Dura-Ace 9200, Ultegra 8100, and Ultegra 8000. Left-side crank arm options provide a straightforward entry into power training at a lower cost; dual-sided cranksets capture independent left and right measurements for riders who want a complete bilateral picture of their output. Both configurations are compatible with standard Shimano chainline and bottom bracket specs.
