The Shimano XTR Di2 SM-FD9050-E Front Derailleur Mount is the adapter you need to run an XTR Di2 front derailleur on a frame with E-Type mounting. Rather than replacing the derailleur itself when moving between bikes, Shimano's mount system lets you swap a single bracket — keeping your drivetrain intact and transferring cleanly to the appropriate frame interface.
The E-Type mount uses two bolts spaced 22.1mm apart and positions the derailleur cage with more clearance relative to the seat tube than a band-clamp setup. It's also a straightforward solution if you're running a multi-chainring drivetrain now but want the option to remove the front derailleur later — the mount stays in place, and reinstallation is equally simple.
