Shimano XTR Di2 FD-M9070 Front Derailleur Info
The Shimano XTR Di2 FD-M9070 Front Derailleur brings electronic precision to the front end of your drivetrain — the part of mountain bike shifting that mechanical systems have always struggled with most. Designed for double chainring setups, it accommodates chainring combinations of 34/24, 36/26, and 38/28, giving you a wide range of gearing options for technical terrain. Because it runs on electronic actuation rather than mechanical cables, there's no cable stretch, no weather-related sluggishness, and no need to periodically re-tune your front shift.
The FD-M9070 features auto-trim for every shift — the derailleur makes micro-adjustments to cage position automatically, eliminating chain rub without any input from you. The redesigned cage profile is also built around the realities of modern mountain bike geometry, leaving clearance for suspension pivots and larger tyre sizes that would crowd a traditional front derailleur. When paired with a dual-lever XTR Di2 setup, it's also compatible with Shimano's Synchronized Shift mode, where a single shifter controls both front and rear derailleurs simultaneously — a feature you can configure to suit your own shifting preference.
