The shaft is machined from 7050 aluminium — a high-strength alloy common in performance components — with the bottom cut on a bias to trim weight where it doesn't affect rigidity. The saddle clamp uses a single-bolt side-entry design that fits standard 7x7mm rails. If your saddle runs oversized 7x9mm rails, you'll need PRO's accessory clamp (part number YPRSP0121) — worth noting before you buy. The 400mm shaft length leaves plenty of insertion depth for a wide range of frame fits, and the post is compatible with PRO's seatpost battery holder for riders running internal Di2 battery setups.
