Pivot Bicycles

Every bike in the Pivot Bicycles lineup starts from the same place: a Phoenix, Arizona shop founded in 2007 by Chris Cocalis, with a riding team that races the bikes before they reach customers. The dw-link suspension design — developed with engineer Dave Weagle — is the platform at the core of Pivot's trail and enduro models, tuned to stay active under braking and square-edge hits in equal measure.

RA Cycles carries Pivot's full mountain bike range — the Trailcat LT for long-travel trail and enduro riding, the Shuttle SL and Shuttle AM for electric all-mountain performance, the Phoenix downhill frameset, and the LES SL Dropbar for drop-bar mountain riding. Builds run from Shimano XT/XTR to SRAM Eagle Transmission across both conventional and e-assist platforms.

About Pivot Cycles

Pivot was founded in 2007 by Chris Cocalis in Phoenix, Arizona — his second mountain bike company after Titus Cycles, which he built from 1989 to 2006. The dw-link suspension system, designed in collaboration with engineer Dave Weagle, became the defining technical element of Pivot's lineup: a platform engineered to maintain rear-wheel traction and pedaling efficiency across the full suspension travel range. That engineering conviction is backed on the racecourse by the Pivot Factory Racing enduro team — Morgane Charre finished 3rd overall in the 2024 Enduro World Cup standings, with wins in Loudenvielle and Haute-Savoie. RA Cycles carries Pivot's complete mountain bike lineup, covering trail, enduro, downhill, e-MTB, and drop-bar mountain disciplines. The Trailcat LT runs in both conventional and Neo e-assist configurations, with build options across Shimano XT, Shimano XTR, and SRAM Eagle Transmission. The Shuttle SL and Shuttle AM handle electric all-mountain performance at the highest level, while the Phoenix downhill frameset brings Pivot's redesigned mid-high pivot six-bar dw-link platform to the most demanding gravity terrain.
