Panaracer Tires

Panaracer has been making tires in Japan since 1952, and the GravelKing has become the line that defines the brand in gravel cycling. Designed for mixed-surface riding — from hardpacked dirt and fire roads to loose gravel and light singletrack — the GravelKing lineup is built around matching tread pattern and casing construction to the terrain, not just the wheel size. Panaracer’s GravelKing is also the named title sponsor of the UCI Gravel World Series through 2028.

The RA Cycles Panaracer collection centers on three GravelKing variants. The slick rolls fast on hardpack and tarmac. The SK (semi-knobby) adds bite for looser surfaces and corners. The SS (semi-slick) splits the difference for mixed-surface days. All three are available in tubeless-ready versions, with Plus models adding ProTite puncture protection. Both 700c and 650b wheel sizes are stocked, along with the Pasela ProTite clincher for road and urban use.

About Panaracer

Panaracer is a Japanese tire manufacturer founded in 1952, based in Osaka. They are best known in gravel and road cycling for the GravelKing line, which helped establish the category of purpose-built gravel tires. The brand’s commitment to the discipline extends beyond the product — Panaracer’s GravelKing is the named title sponsor of the UCI Gravel World Series through 2028. All Panaracer tires are made in Japan. Learn more at panaracerusa.com.

RA Cycles carries the full GravelKing range in both 700c and 650b. The slick and Slick Plus tires are fast-rolling options for hardpack and tarmac. The SK (semi-knobby) and SK Plus provide traction on loose gravel and dirt trails, with the Plus adding ProTite puncture protection. The SS Plus combines ProTite with a semi-slick profile suited to mixed-surface conditions. The Pasela ProTite rounds out the collection as a wire bead clincher for road and light trail use, and the TourGuardPlus covers commuting and touring applications.
