Look was founded in 1951 in Nevers, France, and arrived in cycling through an unexpected origin: founder Jean Beyl adapted ski binding technology into the PP65, the first automatic clipless pedal. Bernard Hinault tested it at the 1985 Tour de France, credited the pedal through a severe crash, and won the race. The following year, Look’s KG 86 became the first carbon frame to incorporate Kevlar — and Greg LeMond rode one to Tour de France victory in 1986. Luc Leblanc won the 1994 Road World Championship on a Look, and the brand’s carbon track frames earned six medals at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Visit Look Cycle’s official website.
At RA Cycles, the Look lineup covers every discipline the brand competes in. The 795 Blade 2 RS Disc is Look’s current aero flagship — available in complete builds and framesets, including the limited Iconic colorways. The 785 Huez 2 is the climbing and all-rounder platform, offered in custom configurations with Shimano, SRAM, or Campagnolo. The 765 handles gravel terrain. The P24 is Look’s dedicated TT and triathlon frameset. And for the velodrome, the 895 Vitesse track frameset rounds out the range.
