F3 Cycling built the FormMount from a single principle: form follows function. The result is a modular mounting system that keeps your computer, phone, camera, or light positioned cleanly on the bar without the tangle of adapters and afterthoughts most mounts require. F3 Cycling was founded in 2016 by Tim Boundy, Mike Scalise, and David Schuda — a biomedical engineer, an advertising creative director, and a CTO with 25 patents and CES Best of Show honors, all of them serious cyclists. The FormMount launched on Kickstarter and quickly found a global audience, selling in more than 50 countries. What separates F3 from other mount makers is the insistence on domestic manufacturing: every FormMount is designed, developed, and made in the United States, which the founders argue is essential to the iterative engineering that keeps the product improving.
