The F3 Formmount Camera/Light Component Mount solves a specific problem cleanly: you want a camera or light up front, but you don't want it consuming bar real estate. It attaches to the underside of the F3 FormMount computer mount, keeping your cockpit uncluttered and your forward view clear.
Installation is straightforward. Undo the two cradle bolts on the underside of your existing FormMount, swap out the cradle for this mount, and install your light or camera. If you decide to remove the camera or light later, reversing the process takes just as little time — the original cradle goes straight back on. Compatibility depends on your stem: bolt spacing needs to fall between 16mm and 41mm apart, the faceplate bolts must be M5, and the bolt axes need to run parallel. Worth confirming before you order.
