Colnago

Colnago has been building race bicycles in Cambiago, Italy since 1954. Every Grand Tour champion from Eddy Merckx to Tadej Pogačar has won on Colnago frames, and the bikes sold here are the same ones raced at the UCI WorldTour level — not watered-down versions. The current lineup spans four distinct platforms: the Y1Rs, Colnago's dedicated aero machine that reduces frontal area by 19% over the V4Rs and requires 20 fewer watts to hold 50 km/h; the V5Rs, Colnago's lightest frame ever at 685 grams, built for climbing and all-around race performance; the C68, a hand-lugged carbon frame assembled by master craftsmen in Cambiago, carrying forward a construction method dating to the C35 of 1989; and the Steelnovo, a 3D-printed lugged steel frame built with Columbus tubing, limited to 400 frames per year. Beyond complete bikes and framesets, this collection includes Colnago components, cockpit parts, accessories, and apparel.

About Colnago

Ernesto Colnago opened his workshop in Cambiago, a small town east of Milan, at the age of seventeen. Within a decade he was building frames for professional teams, and within two decades his bikes were carrying Eddy Merckx to five Tour de France titles, five Giri d'Italia, and the Hour Record. The Colnago name became shorthand for the best Italian road racing had to offer. That reputation has been sustained across seventy years — through the C-series lugged carbon frames beginning with the C35 in 1989, through the V-series aero platforms, and now through the Y1Rs and V5Rs, both developed in collaboration with UAE Team Emirates. Every Colnago frame is still designed in Cambiago, and the C68 and Steelnovo are still assembled there by hand. Learn more at colnago.com.
