Colnago V4Rs Tadej Dura-Ace Di2 Bike Info
With Tadej Pogacar locking up another Tour de France title, Colnago decided to make him his very own V4Rs. This version is extremely limited with a colorful pattern inspired by the Pop-artistic movement. The colors were chosen based on his major victories in races like the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia as well as nine other major jerseys. Pogacar will ride this exact bike at the World Championship road race in Zurich. Carbon-Ti and ENVE SES 4.5 wheels make it a truly elite build. This extremely exclusive version of the V4Rs features a build that is next to none, ready to dominate at the highest level.
When you want to feel like a professional on every area of the road, it is hard to do better than the Colnago V4Rs. You may have noticed the V4Rs under riders like Tadej Pogacar, picking up wins at the Tour de France. There is a reason some of the best athletes in the world prefer the Colnago V4Rs. It really doesn’t have any weaknesses. In modern cycling, you need to be able to keep your speed through the mountains, on sprints, and everywhere in between. The V4Rs is incredibly lightweight, aerodynamically optimized, and has impeccable handling to keep you feeling confident and at your best all over the road.
The new V4Rs is more aerodynamic than ever. This is thanks to upgrades in areas like the CC.01 Colnago Cockpit which has drag reductions of 16 percent compared to the previous generation. Despite having the weight of a climbing bike, the V4Rs is more aero than a lot of aero bikes. With a standard setup, it had a 3 percent aero improvement from previous generations, translating to about 13.2 watts savings. This bumps up to 6 percent and 27.7 watts saved with an advanced aero setup. All of these aerodynamic evolutions were carried out without altering the stiffness of the frame, keeping power transfer to a maximum, complementing the aero efficiency.
Colnago’s engineers focused on achieving the best possible stiffness for sprinting on the V4Rs. Of course, stiffness is most important when the rider is in a sprinting position. The V4Rs is 4 percent stiffer in this position thanks to Colnago’s Real-Dynamic Stiffness methodology. This system calculates forces in different riding conditions to optimize stiffness. It was also used to improve stiffness in the seated position by 5 percent, giving you more speed during all-around riding. Every piece of the Colnago V4Rs has been optimized to promote pure speed in all areas of road riding.
Numbers and engineering aside, the Colnago V4Rs is made to be ridden in the real world. It now has more impact resistance than ever without affecting aerodynamics of performance. With less need for maintenance, you can spend more time riding. A new integrated lightweight fork is featured, giving you better climbing ability as well as amazing handling and stability at high speeds. This performance is balanced across all sizes so everyone can reap the same benefits. This version is equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset for some of the best 12-speed electronic shifting in the world. The Colnago V4Rs is one of the fastest road bikes in the world, no matter where you take it. This version makes one of the more unique bikes out there even more sought after.
