The ISM PM 2.0 Saddle takes the nose-free fork design that ISM built its reputation on and adapts it for the demands of mountain biking. The rounded, sloped rear end gives you room to move around the saddle when the trail gets technical — something a flat-tailed road saddle simply doesn't allow. Soft tissue pressure is eliminated by design, shifting load to your sit bones or pubic rami depending on your riding position.
At 135mm wide and 255mm long, the PM 2.0 sits in ISM's 30-series padding tier — a mid-level blend of foam and gel that delivers firm support without sacrificing comfort on longer fire road sections or endurance events. The chromoly rails offer enough adjustment range to dial in your fore-aft position precisely, and ISM recommends positioning the saddle so two to three inches sit behind you when you're in your riding stance — worth noting when you first set it up.
