If you are casually glancing through the Vittoria MTB tire range, you may be wondering what the difference between the two different versions of the Morsa tires is. This rTNT version means that these Morsa come with a rigid, or wire bead. Using a wire bead instead of a folding bead will add strength and durability to the Gravity tire. Combined with the 120 TPI nylon casing, the rTNT Morsa offers both a high degree of wear and puncture resistance. The sidewall has also been given additional protection with a nylon fabric and abrasion-resistant rubber compound to check any chance of having your ride snapped short by an irreparable cut to the sides of the tire. The Morsa rTNT G+ 27.5” Clincher Tire come tubeless-ready. In fact, the TNT stands for “Tubes, No Tubes”, which will work perfectly with tire sealant when you want to go tubeless. The tubeless-ready bead core and sidewalls are made from Kevlar, ensuring the reliable durability, while the tire is shaped specifically to lock into the rim wall and provide an airtight seal.
