Truvativ Stylo C Eagle BOOST DUB Crankset Info
The carbon-fiber arms mate to SRAM’s new DUB bottom bracket spindle. DUB is an acronym for Durable Unified Bottom bracket, a new salvo in the standard wars and a standard-killer, working will all bottom bracket shells on the market, all that have been in the recent past, and all in the future. The 28.99mm diameter spindle works in all bottom bracket shells, be it BSA, BB30, PF30, BB89, and BB92. The oversized spindle is stiffer and can be made lighter both thanks to the increased diameter. And the slightly smaller than 30mm size means that the bottom bracket bearings can both run smoother and be better sealed regardless of the bottom bracket shell you choose to pair this crank with.
The standard chainring is a 32-tooth X-Sync 2 Eagle ring. It mounts directly to the crank to keep it light, the ring itself is forged and machined for stiffness and durability, and the new tooth pattern maximizes efficiency, durability, and cleanliness, while minimizing noise. You can stick with it or put in any other SRAM direct mount chainring
The crankset has two chainline option: standard (49mm) and Boost (52mm). You’ll need to select the proper DUB bottom bracket to go with your frame.
The Truvativ Stylo Carbon Crankset weighs 555g for a 175mm arm, 32t crankset.
